Nile University of Nigeria launches business school, set to tackle Africa’s business challenges

Nile University of Nigeria officially launched its business school, Nile Business School (NBS), on November 17, 2025.

This launch signals a definitive intent to immediately redefine business training standards across the entire continent. Through Nile University’s membership in Honoris United Universities—the first and largest pan-African private higher education network— the Business School gains immediate access to a powerful ecosystem of academic excellence.

In a ceremony that drew a stellar cast of dignitaries, leaders, and executives, attendees included: The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), fully represented by Dr. Rita Ijeoma Sike; the Executive Secretary of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN); Global bodies, including the Country Director of AICPA–CIMA; and high-level delegations from ACCA, PIC, and PwC. Also, major industry partners such as Zenith and Stanbic IBTC all gave a resounding vote of confidence to the NBS project.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nile University, Prof. Dilli Dogo FNAMed, DFMC, in his welcome address, emphasized that the Nile Business School is designed to be more than just a teaching facility; he stated that it will serve as a crucial hub for research, innovation, and strategic partnerships.
