Nile University of Nigeria officially launched its business school, Nile Business School (NBS), on November 17, 2025.
This launch signals a definitive intent to immediately redefine business training standards across the entire continent. Through Nile University’s membership in Honoris United Universities—the first and largest pan-African private higher education network— the Business School gains immediate access to a powerful ecosystem of academic excellence.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nile University, Prof. Dilli Dogo FNAMed, DFMC, in his welcome address, emphasized that the Nile Business School is designed to be more than just a teaching facility; he stated that it will serve as a crucial hub for research, innovation, and strategic partnerships.

The Nile Business School offers a robust portfolio of programs, including the Online MBA, Executive MBA, and a suite of executive and professional development courses. These programs reflect the school’s commitment to practical learning, accreditation readiness, and industry relevance. To support flexible learning, NBS programs are powered by Nile Online, the University’s digital learning platform. It delivers seamless hybrid and online experiences, giving professionals across Nigeria and beyond access to lectures, assessments, simulations, and executive learning resources.
Driving the school’s ambitious new narrative is the pioneer Dean, Professor Noel Tagoe. In his powerful address, the Dean asserted: “Many organizations across Africa, particularly in Nigeria and elsewhere, face challenges that they need to be able to resolve. Those challenges can only be resolved if they have the right type of people… and we are here to ensure that the right type of people are trained with the competence needed to be problem solvers.”

The ceremony ended brilliantly with guests enjoying a practical simulation exercise, demonstrating the NBS’ commitment to innovation and hands-on learning.
